Zanimivo vprašanje. Unicode razume znaka U+018F/U+0259 (LATIN CAPITAL LETTER SCHWA/LATIN SMALL LETTER SCHWA) kot par v smislu, da ti funkcija tolower() iz prvega naredi drugega, toupper() pa obratno. Ne vem pa, če se to ujema z rabo naših slovenistov.
