Dear signatory of the <NO>OOXML petition from Slovenia,

We have received echos that Microsoft is very active on OOXML lobbying in
Slovenia.

Slovenia is a P-member, which means that the country *have to vote* on the OOXML
proposal. The information I have mentions that the Slovenian Standardisation Body
is receiving comments until the 31st July.

Would it be possible for you to contact (e;ail or phone) your Standardisation
Body SIST (sist at sist.si,+386 1 478 30 13, http://www.sist.si/) and ask them
the following questions:

1. When is the exact deadline to submit comments on the standard?;
2. If they organise a meeting?;
3. If there is a technical sub committee which regroups stakeholders?;
4. If yes to question 3, what is the decision making process for this
technical sub committee (in some countries, there should be a "consensus").
5. How this consensus is calculated?

Please also send them a nice paper letter mentionning your opposition to the
standardisation of this file format, attaching some technical comments you can
find here:

http://www.noooxml.org/arguments

Here is an example of a letter sent by the BxLUG in Belgium (in french sorry):

If you are available to help, please let me know.

Best regards,
