*What is **TechCamp Slovenia**?*

TechCamps are hands-on, participant-driven workshops that *connect
private sector technology experts with key populations*—journalists,
non-governmental organizations, businesses, students, civil society
advocates, and more—to explore and apply innovative tech solutions to
global issues.

TechCamp Slovenia will be a regional event for participants from
Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro,
North Macedonia, and Albania. This event will help equip participants
with the skills needed to inform the public and key policy-makers of the
need and resources available to enhance cyber-security, and to galvanize
action toward protecting vulnerable systems, media ecosystems,
infrastructure, and other vital networks.

We’d like to hear from you as we plan our event, so that we can maintain
a focus on topics and issues that will best enable you in your work. As
such, we’d ask for five to ten minutes of your time in answering a few
questions about the challenges you face in effectively advocating for,
communicating about, or otherwise galvanizing action in your community
for important cybersecurity measures.

So that we may begin enlisting the appropriate technology trainers and
experts, *please fill out this* */TechCamp Survey/*
<https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TechCampSlovenia>*/__/*by *June 15,
2021*. Once we receive your survey submission, our TechCamp organizers
will be in touch with additional information, including information
about a possible small grants opportunity that will follow the October
event, and about an introductory virtual event that we hope to arrange
in the coming months.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact
us at TechCampSlovenia na state.gov <mailto:TechCampSlovenia na state.gov>.

Kind Regards,

The TechCamp Slovenia Team
